Jonathan Marpaunh, S.H., M.H.

Jonathan Marpaung is an Indonesian Advocate with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment obligations (PKPU), insolvency, debt restructuring, and commercial litigation. He regularly advises domestic and international clients on complex corporate transactions, restructuring matters, and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on insolvency proceedings, creditors’ rights, and corporate recovery strategies.

Jonathan has represented and advised financial institutions, corporations, insolvency practitioners, and business entities in a broad range of commercial and restructuring matters, including bankruptcy and PKPU proceedings before the Indonesian Commercial Courts, legal due diligence, contract negotiations, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

He earned his Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, in 2012 and his Master of Laws (M.H.) in Economic Law from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, in 2026. Jonathan is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and the Indonesian Association of Receivers and Administrators (IKAPI).
